Platform One Leadership

Michael Rieck, Senior Vice-President, General Manager

Michael grew up in and around the hospitality industry, learning from a young age how to shuck oysters, bus tables, and eventually bartend. Over the course of his career, he has learned how to equip his sales team with the tools they need to succeed. What he loves most about this business is that it’s constantly presenting opportunities to learn. That’s how he approaches his drink order, too–he most enjoys new-to-him cocktails made by people who dare to think a little differently.

Chris Blaskey, Director of Operations

Chris got his start in the drinks business as a server, an experience he credits with his love for this industry. After running analytics for an eyewear distributor, he returned to his hospitality roots at Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits. While there, he drove sales for their Emerald Division before managing the Deutsch Family portfolio for New York, selling over a million cases in one year. Through unlocking actionable market insights, Chris fuels our brands to succeed in both on- and off-premise accounts. Even though he's a Long Islander through and through, he is partial to a perfect Manhattan.

New York Sales Team

Brittany Chadbourne

Brittany has loved the hospitality industry since she first started waiting tables in her hometown of Cape Cod. Having lived in Manhattan now for over a decade, she’s forged a strong network of relationships in New York, from behind the bar at Death & Company and Donna Cocktail Club to slinging cognac and gin at the leading spirits producer Maison Ferrand. She has a soft spot for a dive bar and an even softer spot for a 50/50 martini, which she drinks with Dorothy Parker Gin.

California Sales

Harlo Stompro

Harlo was working in the San Diego cocktail scene when he was recruited by Southern Glazers Wine and Spirits. During his tenure there, he earned several awards for his commitment to cocktail and spirits education, leading him to work for brands like Liquid Alchemist and Tequila Tepozan. His deep knowledge of spirits sets him apart from others in the industry, though it means his favorite cocktail is constantly in flux–lately, it’s been a 50/50 martini with Mommenpop’s Meyer Lemonpop.

Ian Williamson

Ian is driven by his love of connecting people through food and drink. He credits his time with Bi-Rite Market in San Francisco for inspiring this journey, and with Revel Wine for developing his craft. His proudest role was as California Sales Manager for Mommenpop, where he was able to help grow a small brand into an emergent industry leader. While you're just as likely to find Ian pulling a cork on a great bottle of wine, he does keep quite the home bar, and is partial to a daiquiri.

Daniel Mendez

Daniel cut his teeth at Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits in Florida for 3 years before being called to the west coast. In Los Angeles, he worked for a wine startup before joining the team at Stem Ciders and eventually Sazerac. He loves nothing more than sitting down at a bar and connecting with the people behind it, and though he’s travelled far and wide, he believes New York is the best cocktail city in the world. His drink of choice is an Old Fashioned.
